USES OF THE PROTECTED AREA
- Offer the public a setting for leisure and passive recreation through the contemplation of unique natural attractions existing in the reserve, raising visitor awareness of the importance of different species in the ecosystem.
- Research development, follow-ups and monitoring, environmental education and protection activities, control and surveillance regulation, manejo, repopulation and reintroduction of wild species for habitat enrichment.
- Conserve native species. Flora: Mahogany, Ebony, little lion, white prickly pear. Fauna: Paujil Moquiamarillo, Stone-capped Curassow, black kettle, green macaw, Crested Eagle, Solitary Eagle and the Andean Condor.
