In response to the circular issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, We allow ourselves to promote and participate from the municipal and departmental risk councils in the execution of the Seventh National Emergency Drill.

It is our commitment to carry out risk prevention activities that will help citizens to be prepared at the time an emergency arises, since they have the tools to protect themselves and avoid further damages, Therefore, the drill seeks to improve planning, coordination and communication between public entities, private and the community to mitigate the risk.

From the Regional Autonomous Corporation of La Guajira, We will participate in the national emergency response drill in the earthquake scenario, this coming wednesday 24 October of the current year.

Within the corporation, It is intended to test the emergency plan and institutional contingencies, measure the responsiveness of the emergency brigade Corporation, evaluate the emergency alarm system and strengthen the knowledge of public officials in the face of earthquake emergencies.

We extend the invitation to public entities, private and all citizens, to participate in prevention drills convened by the MADS, in order to be prepared for emergencies that arise in the department.
