Protects species like marimonda, the frog, the morrocoy, the Condor of the Andes, the lonely eagle, the stubble, the green macaw, the night monkey, the tigrillos, the cougar or the red lion. As well as the upper basin of the Tomarrazón river – Shrimps, which plays a decisive role in the supply of water, to Laguna Navío Quebrado, contributing in this way to achieve the ecological balance of this lagoon ecosystem.
